About Me

Born in Brazil, started my career in a dark room developing black and white pictures for the local newspaper in 1996 and while at University was promoted to a press photographer position. Completed BA in Journalism in 2000 and chose Photography: Practice and Discourse as my post-graduation course in 2001. Since then I've been working in a wide range of environments as a press photographer, writer, editor, designer and teaching at University and school. Moved to London in 2003, lived in Italy for a while, love books, poetry, culinary cooking and enjoy traveling and experiencing people’s cultures.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

· Successfully taught A-levels students in Art History and Writing Techniques at Colegio Sistema, in Sao Paulo, Bauru, Brazil (Feb -Oct 2003).
· Taught Graphic Design in Journalism at Fema University, Assis, Sao Paulo, Brazil (Feb - Oct 2002), including the design, planning and production of a 12-page tabloid for the University.
· Provided teaching on Photographic Techniques for Publicity Studies, SENAC Bauru, Brazil (Jun – Sept 2002).
· Advised and instructed how to showcase amateur photographs at SESC, Bauru May 2002.

· Work in one of the main tourist attractions in London.
· Duties include taking professional pictures and sales, always maintaining a high standard customer service.
